I am a senior at Houston Christian University with a passion for sports and storytelling. As an athlete and someone who has been around the game for years, I see basketball and sports from a deeper perspective than just scores and highlights. I’m interested in the details, the strategy, the adjustments, and the moments that define a team.

Through my writing, I aim to give readers insight into the game while also capturing the energy and emotion that make sports meaningful. I’ve developed my skills by analyzing teams, breaking down performances, and learning how to communicate clearly and effectively.

My goal is to continue growing as a sports journalist and eventually work for The Athletic, where I can combine my knowledge of the game with strong storytelling to inform and engage audiences. I want my work to not only report what happens, but explain why it matters.
